The First Tee Chapter Child Protection Training

Welcome to The First Tee’s on-line Risk Management Training program. This program offers Chapter staff, board members and volunteers a first look at key issues in the area of youth safety and protection. We encourage any individual who has more than cursory contact with program participants to go through the program. The training module should complement, not substitute for, the existing efforts of your respective Chapters to devise and implement effective risk management strategies locally. We hope that you find the program educational and useful.

The program is designed provide a brief overview of certain topics. The program is divided into 4 sections, excluding the introduction and summary. We encourage you to read closely the narrative in each section. At the conclusion of each section there will be a multiple choice question that seeks to test your knowledge of the information you have just learned. Following the summary, you will find a final “quiz” consisting of 10 additional questions drawn from each topic. You must answer at least 7 of the 10 questions correctly in order to receive a certificate of completion. If you do not achieve the minimum 70%, you will be able to take the final quiz again to try for a passing score. Once you have successfully completed the final quiz, you will be directed to a page where you will be asked to provide your identifying information. Once that is entered successfully, you will automatically receive your certificate of completion.
